# Trouble receiving or using a verification code
## If you’re having trouble signing up for Wrepit because your verification code doesn’t work, this is usually caused by requesting multiple codes too quickly.
#### **What’s happening?** When you request a verification code, only the **most recent code** is valid.
If you request several codes in a short time:
- Earlier codes are automatically deactivated
- Email delivery can be slightly delayed
- By the time a code arrives, it may already be expired if a newer one was requested
This can create a loop where none of the codes you try are accepted.
#### **How to fix it**
1. Request a new verification code.
2. **Wait a few minutes** for the email to arrive before requesting another one.
3. Use **only the latest code** you received.
4. Check your spam or junk folder if the email doesn’t appear.
In most cases, this resolves the issue.
#### **Still not working?** If you still can’t sign up after waiting and using the latest code, contact Wrepit support. We can help you complete the verification process.
#### **Why this can happen** Verification emails may be delayed due to:
- Email security filters or firewalls
- Temporary delays in email delivery
These delays don’t affect your account, but they can make codes arrive later than expected.
