"Storage Error" in Drafts Word
What to do when the Wrepit Document ID in a Word file has been changed.

What you see
The add-in shows a page titled Storage Error with the message:
Your connection with Wrepit seems to be out of sync. For some reason, the Wrepit Document ID of this Word document appears to have been tampered with.
Why this happens
Every Word document connected to Wrepit has a hidden Wrepit Document ID stored in the document's properties. The add-in uses it to find the right publication. If the ID has been changed, for example by editing the document properties in Word, the add-in can no longer match the document to Wrepit.
How to fix it

If you changed the document properties yourself, undo the change (or go back to an earlier version of the file in SharePoint version history).

Close and reopen the add-in.
Don't try to type in a new ID yourself.
