“No user found” error in the Drafts Word add-in

If you see a “No user found” message when trying to sign in to the Drafts Word add-in, it usually means your Wrepit account hasn’t been activated yet.

What’s happening?
Even if you’ve been added to a workspace and installed all required integrations, your user account remains pending until you complete your first sign-in.

Until that happens, the Drafts Word add-in won’t recognize you as an active user.

 

How to fix it
Try one of the following options:

Option 1: Complete signup from your invitation email

  1. Check your inbox for an invitation email sent when you were added to the workspace.

  2. Also check your spam or junk folder.

  3. Click the link in the email to complete your registration.

 

Option 2: Sign up via the Wrepit portal

If you can’t find the invitation email, you can complete signup directly:

  1. Go to the Wrepit portal.

  2. Sign up using the same email address that was added to the workspace.

  3. Once signup is complete, reopen Word and try the Drafts add-in again.

After completing signup, the error should disappear.

 

When does this typically happen?
This issue most often occurs when:

  • You’re added to a workspace but haven’t logged in before

  • You try to use Drafts Word before completing the initial signup

  • You’re using a template before activating your account
