Missing Add-ins in Excel or Word
How to get the add-ins back
If your Wrepit add-ins have disappeared from Excel or Word, try these solutions in order.
Quick fix: Refresh your add-ins
- Step 1: Restart your computer and open Excel or Word
- Step 2: Go to the Home tab and click Add-ins
- Step 3: Click More add-ins in the popup
- Step 4: Select the Admin Managed tab and click Refresh in the top right
Your add-ins should reappear. If they don't, continue to the next solution.
Reset the add-in cache
- Step 1: In Excel or Word, click File → Options
- Step 2: Select Trust Center from the left menu
- Step 3: Click Trust Center Settings
- Step 4: Check the box: "Next time Office starts, clear all previously-started web add-ins cache"
- Step 5: Close all Office apps completely and restart Excel or Word
Your add-ins should now appear. If needed, try the refresh steps above once more.
Still having issues?
Contact your IT administrator. They may need to:
- Verify that your access to the add-in has not been revoked.
- Verify Azure settings (https://reports.wrepit.net/security-guide/sec/6/2)
- Reinstall Office 365 on your computer
