How to place elements side by side in a Wrepit report

This article explains how to position elements (KPIs, images, text, etc.) next to each other in a report using Wrepit’s layout tools.

When you need this
Use this when you want a side-by-side layout, for example:

  • Two or more KPIs on the same row

  • An image next to a text block

  • Multiple text blocks aligned in columns

Solution (recommended): Use the Design Grid
The Design Grid gives more flexibility than a standard table (spacing, padding, alignment, cell sizing).

  1. Open the Highlights add-in

  2. Click Design Grid

  3. Choose the layout that matches your needs:

    1. 1-col = 1 column × 1 row

    2. 2-col = 2 columns × 1 row

    3. 3-col = 3 columns × 1 row

    4. 4-col = 4 columns × 1 row

  4. Insert or paste your content into each cell

Alternative: Use a table
A table can also be used for side-by-side layouts, but it offers fewer layout controls than the Design Grid.

Design Grid options (what you can adjust)

  • Background color

  • Padding/spacing (entire grid or per cell)

  • Add multiple rows within one grid

  • Gap between cells

  • Cell size

  • Alignment of content within cells
