# "Document has moved" in Drafts Word
## How to choose between continuing, reconnecting or opening the original document.
**Applies to:** Drafts Word
What you see
The add-in shows one of these pages:
- Document has moved from Sharepoint: the document used to be in SharePoint, but this copy isn't (you have probably downloaded it).
- Document has moved onto Sharepoint: the document used to be stored locally, and has now been copied or moved to SharePoint.
- Document has moved within Sharepoint: the document has been copied to a new location, or moved to a different SharePoint drive.
### Why this happens
Wrepit remembers where the document connected to a publication is stored. When you open a document from a different location, Drafts can't tell if this is the same document or a copy, so it asks what you want to do.
Choose one of the three options on the page:
| Option | Choose this when |
| --- | --- |
| Continue working on this Document, linked to the same Wrepit Publication | This file is the one you want to keep working on from now on. The old connection is replaced by this file. |
| Continue working on this Document, linked to a new Wrepit Publication | You made a copy on purpose, for example to start next year's report. The file is disconnected from the old publication, and you can connect it to a new one. |
| Find original document | You opened a copy by mistake. Close this file and open the original document instead. |
### How to fix it
In most cases you should keep working on the original document in SharePoint, especially if others are working on the same report.
If you see *"An error occurred while reconnecting the publication"* or *"An error occurred while connecting to a new publication"*, wait a few minutes and try again.
