Drafts in Word: upload directly from the add‑in
With Drafts for Word, you connect a document to a publication and upload directly from Word. This replaces the old portal‑upload flow and the friction that came with it—like browser restrictions, having to download from SharePoint before upload, or needing to close a locally stored file every time. Now you can update the publication straight from the add‑in.
End‑to‑end ESEF/XBRL tagging
Drafts also introduces end‑to‑end ESEF/XBRL tagging. You only need the Word add‑in to get started. The Excel add‑in is required when you need tagging—once enabled, tagging is supported in both Word and Excel. Tagging work is further supported by Excel2Word by Wrepit, which helps pull data from Excel into Word.
